Some spaces invite you to linger, even if only for a moment. This powder room was designed to do exactly that.

We’re honored to share that one of our recent projects was featured on the Houzz homepage in their editorial idea book, The Top 10 New Powder Rooms of 2025, under the theme “Enchanted Forest.”

A Small Space with a Story

Powder rooms offer a rare opportunity in the home—a place where bold choices can live comfortably. For this Charlotte project, the goal was to create something transportive yet refined, layered but not overwhelming.

The design centers around Schumacher’s Brindille mural wallpaper, whose peacock blue background and soft gold accents set a moody, immersive tone. The mural becomes more than a backdrop; it establishes the rhythm of the room.

Gold finishes carry that rhythm forward, appearing in the shapely mirror frame, classic sconces, and the contemporary hardware of a custom reeded vanity. Each element was selected to quietly echo the warmth of the wallpaper, allowing the space to feel cohesive, intentional, and balanced.

Why Powder Rooms Matter

Though compact in size, powder rooms often leave a lasting impression. They’re moments of pause—spaces experienced briefly, but remembered. This project was designed with that in mind: elegant, layered, and quietly expressive without trying to steal the spotlight.

Being recognized by Houzz for a space like this reinforces our belief that thoughtful design lives in the details, and that even the smallest rooms deserve intention.

A Note of Gratitude

We’re grateful to the Houzz editorial team for the feature, and to our clients for trusting us with a space that allowed for creativity and refinement. These projects are always collaborations, built on vision, trust, and care.
